However, when they feel that they are in danger and they start to flap their ears, you will find this to be very frightening.

Socializing with other animals is necessary. Animals need to know how to interact with others without getting aggressive. This is something that they are taught. However, they may come into dangerous situations where they have to protect themselves. They have an instinct to know when they are in danger and what to do in these sorts of situations.

Besides sounds and tactile experiences, there are also chemicals involved, known as pheromones. This is basically a trigger that is set off. For example, a chemical may be set off in an ant will pick this up, and the rest of the colony will gather. They will work in the colony searching for the food
